Hajar Mountains and Hatta Dam

Overview

The Hajar mountain range, within which the Hatta Mountain Conservation Area and the town of Hatta are nestled, symbolises outstanding natural beauty in the region. Nature in this regard presents itself in mountain trails, steep climbs, jagged rocky outcrops, ravines, farm land and the emerald lake formed by Hatta Dam.

A number of outdoors activities are as such possible – from hiking through to kayaking and camping. Rugged trails allow for mountain biking as well as running for the physically fit. For those looking at less strenuous ways of experiencing the outdoors and surrounding scenery; bringing a picnic can offer another possibility.
