RAS GHANADA CORAL REEF

Overview

Plunge beneath the deep blue waters of the UAE coastline, where a vibrant underwater world dramatically unfolds right before your eyes. Ras Ghanada Reef is the largest coral reef in the UAE and the Gulf region, known for its biodiversity and reef development.
To give you a snapshot - around 40 percent of Arabian Gulf coral species can be found on Ras Ghanada alone, including those that uniquely occur in the Gulf such as the table coral (acropora downingi) and massive columnar coral (porites harrisoni).
Along with these unique corals, you can also visit a 35 square kilometer development, which is home to a fascinating world of turtles, dugongs, sea snakes, and clownfish.
