Kalba Bird of Prey Centre, located on Sharjah’s east coast close to Al Ghayl Fort, is home to more than 30 species of resident and migrating raptor including eagles, hawks, falcons and owls. A fundamental aim at the centre is to sustain conservation and natural habitats. Furthermore, it looks to keep the region’s falconry heritage and tradition alive, educating visitors about the birds that reside there and presenting live flying demonstrations.

Kalba Bird of Prey Centre is located in Al Ghayl area in Kalba – on the northern side of the Sharjah-Kalba Road – E102, heading toward Kalba.

Parking is available as are a shop and cafeteria.

Education on bird species and viewing flying demonstrations.
October to April.
Open to the public from 9:30 am to 6 pm daily, except Monday when the centre is closed. Flying demonstration timings may vary.
AED 15 for adults and children above 12 years.
Children under the age of 12 years enter for free.
