Import of fishing tools and equipment

About the Service

Through this service, a permit is issued to import fishing tools and equipment. At the entry port, the consignment will be inspected and will be released after confirming the data listed in the import permit of the consignment and ensuring that it meets the necessary technical requirements (valid for three months from issuance date)

Service Process

  1. To obtain the import permit:

  5. To release the consignment:

  6. 1. Fill-out the electronic form

  7. 2. E- Payment

  8. 3. Inspection of the consignment

  9. 4. Issue the release permit electronically

Required Documents

To obtain the import permit:

  1. There are no consignment documents.

To request the release of the consignment:

  1. Certificate of origin
  2. Customs declaration or bill of lading
  3. Purchase invoice or packing list

Conditions & Requirements

  1. The establishment must have a license to practice an activity related to the aquatic life sector that includes the activity of importing fish and marine life fishing tools and equipment.
  2. The fishing tools and equipment intended for import must be listed in the e-services system
  3. The consignment must match the data listed in the import permit and meet the necessary technical requirements
