Import of horses - permanent or temporary

1. To obtain import permission:

4. Issuing the Permit electronically

5. To release the consignment:

6. Fill out the electronic form

7. E - Payment

8. Physical examination and laboratory test

9. Issuing the release permit electronically

Import:

• A copy of the laboratory examination from the exporting country
• Copy of the horse passport
• Vaccination document
• Copy of the owner’s passport / ID 
• No objection from the Emirates Arabian Horse Association in the event that the horse is Arab

Release (Permanent importation):

• Import permit
• attested veterinary health certificate issued by the competent veterinary authorities
• A copy of the laboratory test issued by the  United Arab Emirates

Importation is permitted only from the list of allowed countries
