Import of restricted fertilizers and agricultural conditioners

For approving restricted raw materials / fertilizers for the purpose of import

1. Fill out the electronic form (Click here)
2. Review the application and complete the procedures electronically
3. Contact with Ministry of Interior for the Approval and obtaining security approval by e-mail
4. Include the approved quantity and security approval number in the system

For import permit:

1. Fill out the electronic form
2. E-payment
3. Issuing the import permit electronically

To release the consignment:

1. Fill out the electronic form
2. E-payment
3. Review the application and complete the procedures electronically
4. Visually inspect the consignment and take a sample for laboratory analysis
5. Issuing permission to release the mission electronically

Approving restricted raw materials / fertilizers for the purpose of import

• Chemical Safety Data Sheet for the material to be imported (MSDS)
• Factory layout
• Vehicle license
• Industrial / commercial license
• Ministry of Interior forms

Import:

•  No documents required

Release:

• Invoice or product list
• Origin certificate
• Copy of the customs manifest or bill of lading
• Certificate of analysis for each operation (shipment) issued by the factory or from a governmental laboratory or laboratory accredited by the competent authority in the country of origin proving the conformity of the shipment to the registration certificate

1. The establishment must have a Production and Trade of Agricultural Inputs License that includes trading and/or production in fertilizers and agricultural conditioners (wholesale trade in chemical fertilizers and agricultural conditioners / wholesale trade in organic fertilizers and agricultural conditioners) The product shall be registered in favor of the establishment at the EDE.
2. The product to be imported must be registered with Emirates Drug Establishment for the company (Raw materials for factories do not require prior registration for import)
3. The establishment may import the product / products from any branch of the producing or exporting company mentioned in the product registration certificate.
4. Having the annual approval gor restricted fertilisers or raw materials for the purpose of import in coordination with the Ministry of Interior.
