This service allows obtaining a license for the activities of trading and manufacturing nutritional supplements

Service Process

To apply for a service over any of the service channels, you should register in the digital services system 

In case of a request to issue a license / add another activity

  1. Create the application electronically
  2. E- Payment
  3. Review the application and complete the procedures electronically
  4. Inspection of all establishments, except for facilities specialized in import and export
  5. Issuing the license electronically


Required Documents

In case of a request to issue a license / add a new activity:

  1. Copy of valid trade or industrial license
  2. Approval of the competent authority for the establishment of the facility (establishment)

For all establishments except those specialized in trade activities, the following additional documents are required:

 Veterinary supervision through one of the following options:

  1. Presence of a licensed veterinarian from the ministry, or
  2. It is permissible for an agricultural engineer to be licensed by the Ministry as a substitute for a veterinarian in the case of nutritional supplements factories only an environmental permit issued by the competent authority in accordance with the provisions of Federal Law No. 24 of 1999 on the protection and development of the environment

Conditions & Requirements

The license is valid for one year from the date of issuance for the following activities: nutritional supplements factory, import and export of nutritional supplements

•2000 AED issuing or renewing an annual license to open a veterinary pharmaceutical factory •500 AED for issuing or renewing annual licenses for practicing animal and veterinary activities for each activity for medical products used, including raw materials (including licensing veterinary preparation facilities (veterinary warehouses
