Request to renew a deputy boat master’s card

About the Service

Through this service the fisher can appoint a local vice-captain to operate his/her boat and work on it on his/her behalf. A vice-captain card will be issued valid for 2 years from the date of renewal.

Service Process

  1. Proactively create the application through the electronic system and send it to the customer one month before the license expires.
  2. Review the application and complete the procedures electronically
  3. Issuance of the vice-captain card

Required Documents

  • Personal photo (optional)
  • Copy of a valid passport for those who carry UAE passports

  1. Valid Emirates ID card and passport
  2. Fulfill the terms and conditions in the " Vice-Captain Card Issuance" service card
