Licensing of veterinary products facilities

To issue the license:

1. Adopting a trade name from the local authority concerned 
2. Copy of the lease or ownership contract of the veterinary establishment 
3. Copy of valid trade license the manufacturer 

General requirements for veterinary products facilities: 

• The establishment shall have a Signboard at the front to write down the name and type of activity 
• The place shall be suitable in accordance with the planning and procedures of the local authority and shall be accessible 
• The veterinary establishment shall not be connected or open to any establishment, housing or other property 
• Providing a source of water and sanitation according to the rules set by the competent local authorities 
• Provide means to combat fire 
• Provide suitable container for closed-loop waste 

Requirements for veterinary drug stores: 

• The floors and walls should be easy to clean and sterilize 
• The facility shall be well lit and ventilated, taking into account the availability of air conditioners, and heat-measuring devices 
• To provide a burner that meets sanitary and environmental conditions for disposal of waste or to contract with one of the specialized agencies or companies in this field 
• Provide a refrigerator suitable for keeping medicines, vaccines and reagents 

Technical Requirements for veterinary drug stores: 

• Provide shelves or cupboards to place medicines at a height of 20 cm from the ground and not be exposed to sunlight, where it is prohibited to put drugs box on the ground directly 
• Provide a storage cabinet for pesticides and toxins to be completely isolated from the rest of the medicine cabinets 
• Provide a wardrobe for keeping narcotics and monitoring to be completely isolated from the rest of the medicine cabinets 
• Provide at least 1 veterinarian with at least one new practicum 

Veterinary products factories

In case of a request to issue a license / add a new activity:

• Copy of valid trade or industrial license
• Approval of the competent authority for the establishment of the facility (establishment)
•  Veterinary supervision through one of the following options:

1. Presence of a licensed veterinarian from the ministry, or a pharmacist licensed by the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, may be a substitute for a veterinarian in the case of veterinary products factories only.

• An environmental permit issued by the competent authority in accordance with the provisions of Federal Law No. 24 of 1999 on the protection and development of the environment
