Renew License for the Production and Trade of Agricultural Inputs

About the Service

Through this service, a renewal of approval obtained to practice an agricultural activity for one year from the date of issue. These activities include: (Pesticide trade/ Fertilizers and agricultural conditioners trade / Manufacture of fertilizers and agricultural conditioners / Accreditation for a unit for production and trading of farm waste fertilizers

Service Process

  1. Proactively create the application through the electronic system and send it to the customer one month before the license expires.
  2. E- Payment.
  3. Issuing the license electronically

Required Documents

  1. Commercial license OR trade name or professional license
  2. Environmental permit when licensing of Manufacturing of fertilizers and soil conditioners and license of Accreditation for a unit for production and trading of farm waste fertilizers.
  3. In the event of a change in the location of the activity of conducting activities, the following activities shall be inspected:
  • Fertilizers and agricultural conditioners trade.
  • Pesticide trade
  • Manufacturing of fertilizers and soil conditioners.

Accreditation for a unit for production and trading of farm waste fertilizers.

Licensing requirements for the first time for all activities.

Service Fees


• AED 500 for issuing or renewing annual licenses for the following agricultural activities (for each activity): pesticide trade (wholesale and retail), fertilizer and agricultural conditioner trade (wholesale and retail). • AED 5,000 for approving or renewing annual accreditation for a factory producing and trading fertilizers and agricultural conditioners. • No fees are required for approving units producing and trading fertilizers from farm waste.
