Request Subsidies for Farmers

About the Service

Through this service, farmers can receive specialized support materials, including agricultural production supplies, provided annually by the Ministry. This support is available to state citizens who have registered agricultural holdings with the Ministry, provided their holdings meet the established targets and standards. Farmers are required to pay 50% of the actual purchase price for these materials and supplies.


Service Process

  1. Fill out the electronic form
  2. Payment and Issuance of an electronic exchange order
  3. Delivery of materials to the farmer

Conditions & Requirements

  • The farm owner must be a citizen of the United Arab Emirates.
  • The individual must be both the owner and the manager of the farm.
  • The farm must be registered in the Ministry’s electronic system and all land registration details must be completed.
  • Farm data must be updated with the Ministry annually or whenever there are changes to the farm’s details.
  • Access must be granted to Ministry of Climate Change and Environment staff for periodic farm visits to provide guidance.
  • The farm must not be leased or otherwise utilized by any third party.
  • Support materials must not be sold or used outside the farm.
  • The following criteria must be met for eligibility to receive support materials:
  • The farm must be operational and productive.
  • Farm products must be marketed through recognized sales channels.
  • Organic farms.
  • Farms utilizing controlled-environment agricultural systems.
  • Palm farms engaged in marketing activities.

  1. What is a disbursement order?
  2. It is the electronic or paper document under which farmers' support materials are received from the supplying companies.

  3. How do I know that I meet the conditions to obtain support materials?
  4. The farmers' support service is linked to the agricultural holding registration service, and thus the materials appear to each farmer based on the data recorded in his agricultural holding and his commitment to the requirements and standards indicated in the service card.

  5. What is the expected period for receiving materials?
  6. The expected period for receiving the materials after completing the payment process is 15 working days.

  7. How are purchased materials received?
  8. The materials are received from the distribution centers listed in the supplies guide, or the supplying companies deliver the materials to the farmer on the farm.

  9. What are the procedures taken in the event of a delay in delivering materials to customers?
  10. The customer can contact the call center to follow up with the request.

  11. I purchased certain materials, but some of the remaining required materials were not available. When will the remaining materials be offered?
  12. The materials are provided according to their availability.

  13. I did not receive a text message informing me that I can apply for the service?
  14. Text messages are sent to farmers entitled to support materials according to the approved eligibility criteria and who have updated their contact information in the electronic services system.

Through this service, a permit is issued to import live fish, aquatic organisms, ornamental fish, and broodstock or larvae of fish and aquatic organisms.
